Anybody using Market Samurai for keyword research? Still works now?

How does it compare to Longtail Pro?

I have used before but now using other tools like KW Finder and Semrush but when we compare to MS with Longtail pro You can go with Longtail Pro it's better.

For me, Longtail Pro is more effective compared to Market Samurai. While Market Samurai is still a good tool, it has not been "updated" in the sense that it may not give the service you need at present times. Longtail Pro has the Keyword Competitiveness feature that gives it the edge.

The granular competitive analysis on MS is great. I wish more tools broke down the on-page elements like they do. But, I think LTP is the better choice in today's environment.

Of course, you could always just get an Ahrefs account and not need anything else.

MS used to be god-sent, but ever since the developer got discouraged due to various issues, like PR went dead, and so forth, they were not keen in updating their tool anymore, and other ground-breaking solutions were delivered half past six. I used to enter my own proxies onto MS to check my ranking stats live from the search engines, but ever since they changed that to an affiliated service, that discouraged me from using their rank checker instead, as I wanted live stats pulled from the search engine immediately, and not waiting 1 week for 1 update.

Its been years since I have used that tool. Back in the day it was a great tool to have. Guess i could update it and see what all it does today.
