Anybody tried TweetBoss?

$564/year? Lmfao what are you guys doing are you in some sort of competition where you're trying to see who sell the less software? :lmao:
well, you can look at it from 2 perspectives, what you said is one, and yea, if you'd only need a twitter account creator, that would be quite costly, but if you use a bunch of other tools, because there's quite a few for other social media sites too, viral scripts and what not, the dev is one of the best coders around, the tools receive constant updates, so if you take this all into account, it's already not that expensive :)

No offense taken. I think the prices are reasonable. They cover development, marketing and support costs. Windows can be sold for $200 because Microsoft has a customer base in the 100s of millions and funding to support their team. Small developers, charge more because it takes money to develop products, market them and to support the customers.

That being said, the prices have been updated ---the new prices are: $9.99 per month, $19.99 per month and $29.99 per month.

So there is no more one time fees? I would prefer to pay more but one time. Do you have any options on that?

I had a look at your website - interface looks similar to Tweet Adder which is big plus in my opinion. Do you have any trials?

No offense but I dont know what you guys are thinking by selling a few pages of code for 249$ when the price of whole OS like Win 8.1 Pro is 200$... I just don't understand the marketing logic here. On the top of that you got competitors with high brand awareness and good product reputation which can be found way chipper than your price.

You can't compare a Twitter bot to an OS like Windows...
1.5 billion people use Windows as their OS. Even allowing for a high rate of piracy, their profit margins can be very small in comparison to an independent Developer making a bot for Twitter that will reach an audience of hundreds, maybe thousands if successful. It's returns to scale and economies of scale.

yes you can't compare this bot to windows but the price is extremely high for this bot.also , as an amateur programmer i don't believe that more than 2 programmers have worked on this project. besides this i think the profit margin with this price is too high for developers. so, if you re making a bot for twitter and you think that you can't sell it and therefore you put a price so high, of course you can't sell it. ok, i don't expect to put a price as low as $20 but come on, it's high for this work.

$277 is really expensive for a program that's not so popular.
I would look into alternatives.

I don't think its very good and the price is way to high. There is a lot better out there.

It needs a lot of improvement. But I do think this tool looks promising. Maybe it would become much better in the future. I just hope the price wouldn't increase. That would be horrible.

It's real big problem, every time a twitter tool comes out that we think will be all we need then twitter do something that it wont work right.

"You can't compare a Twitter bot to an OS like Windows..."

Actually I can..

I was comparing them as a customer not as a vendor or even marketer.

As costumer I don't care how it's made, what was the financial or time investment of the vendor, I only care what value this product can provide me and on what price. The vendor is the one who need to adapt to the market and please/lure the customer not the other way around. So as a customer I can afford to make those kind of comparisons.
