Anybody tried thrive themes?

I just bought thrive themes membership,and installed perfomag theme on my wordpress website,and I also installed all plugins they offered,but theme don't look like it should. I posted on their support forum but no answer for now.

Header and footer got black color and they look similar to what they should look,but still,front page just doesn't look nice. It changed the look but it is not what preview demo looks like.

Did anybody here had similar problem?

Sorry for asking this question,but this is my to go forum :)

If you want the theme to look like the demo, then you need to look if the offer the option of importing the demo to your live site. You can find that at the theme setting in your wordpress. You don't have to be web designer to figure it out.
 
To see the dummy content import option, remove/uninstall the theme from WordPress. Then reinstall the theme, and after reinstalling it, there will be an option to import data (the word might be different and I am writing only from memory of seeing similarly worded option).... Look for it. Select it.... Check YouTube to see if there are any help videos.

There is no option like that.

Anyway guys,I figured it out. This theme have special builder that you need to "play with" in order for the posts to appear on front page. It still doesn't look like the demo but at least I am closer now.

It is stupid that they are proud of how theme is good for everything,but they can't make option that your theme look like demo when you install it. Instead I need to spend few hours of my time to figure it all out. Support is terrible. I am not sure about speed and things like that,but I wouldn't recommend this theme for now.
 
To install the demo pages
-in wordpress dashboard go to "thrive Dashboard"
-You will see the theme you installed click on the 3 dots top right corner
-Go to page templates and select the pages you want to replicate
-Put a check mark at "edit these pages with thrive content builder"
-click "generate selected pages"
 
The only time I had trouble is when it was out of date and I had to manually update it. Demo content I think you have to import manually from the download file
but it's been awhile since I personally set up a site with thrive. Check to make sure you're updated.

Yea they don't have tutorial or nothing,so if you are not familiar with Wordpress that much you won't know what to do. I asked my friend who did work some time with wordpress,he even made few website and didn't know how to solve problem. I had to search manually on few threads on their forum to find out answer. And still header is differently placed then in Demo etc etc

I will figure it out but its annoying that they didn't had tutorial or video about this on same webpage :)

Will let you guys know how ti goes later.
 
I use thrive a lot if you want me to look at your site lemme know
Support is pretty good but today on sunday you prolly won't get a fast answer but tomorrow yes. They always reply
 
OP most themes provide a xml file to import dummy content, look for it.
