Hi guys ,

Just installed Joomla 3 latest version on one of my blog .

I am getting issue in adding links in posts / pages .

E.g : When i add link to any keyword in content , it automatically add additional "\" , which causes link to work properly .

Any idea whats going on ?

Thanks

SEO lover,

Are you saying a back slash is added to URL's in the content editor? If so, this happens in other versions of Joomla as well. Are you saying your links are working properly? If they are and you just don't want the backslash, try just diabling the content editor so that it won't add arbitrary code upon exit. This could be the same solution if the added backslash is causing links not to work.

Perhaps this thread will be of some use,

http://community.joomla.org/featured-articles/did-you-know/748-wysiwyg-editor-removes-html-code.html

Also, and I'm not sure if this is present in Joomla 3, but there may be a show/hide link at the top of the content editor. Hide the "visual" view and code should not be added when you save.

Hope that helps,

Shawn

I have never used this so thanks for sharing this info. Be appreciated to receiving any ideas from guys.

I think you need to reply with a better description. The main thing that got me was that you wrote "it automatically add additional "\"". Notice it was a backslash rather than a forward slash. Please be more clear on what it is that you are doing. What platform is your money site built on? You are building links to your money site, which i assume is a joomla blog?
Tip - you can go to user manager in Joomla and turn off the editor because editors will strip HTML.

Hi community!
It would be nice to hear the approximate release date of Seblod version compatible with Joomla 3.
