Anybody Stream On Twitch?

I have been thinking about starting a Twitch channel and streaming full time,I already make good passive income and was thinking maybe I could earn extra with Twitch.

Who here streams and how do you promote your channel?

If you dont stream what do you enjoy watching on Twitch?

Why dont you make a website and use SEO to rank for your stream! Could be a new method for making some money.

I don't think you'll earn much streaming unless you get actual viewers which is quite difficult if you're just starting out.

I heard twitch doesn't pay that much, so most of the pros went to mlg for streaming for a higher payout. Then with twitch, it's haaaard to get started I imagine and should be seen as an add on and brand building with a YouTube channel. But idk if it's a good idea to just start with twitch.

Thats true,well I am pretty decent at marketing..once you get at least 100 dedicated viewers it gets a lot easier.

I don't really play much games anymore. I doubt 100 viewers will do much since the requirements to be a twitch partner to stream ads on your stream would take about 500+ viewers at a current time as stated in the requirements below.

I see that all the time,i actually have a friend that got over 5 grand in donations she only streams like once or twice a week.She has no job.Complete bullshit if you ask me,people on twitch are sexist.

Twitch is like any Internet project - it's snowball.. Once you get your snowball rolling it's easier and easier. Once you got ~100 viewers (when live) on TWITCH it isn't hard to make 500+. With 100 viewers you will be on top on any non-mainstream game, what attracts even more viewer.

Back to thread author, if you have enough passive income try to do streaming. Maybe you will enjoy. But do not forget that in video business your personal excitement has a great influence on results. No-one is going to watch you playing if it wouldn't be interesting for you to play.

I wouldn't say sexist, more along the lines of pathetic. Feel kind of bad for guys who donate in hopes of getting these chicks and then lol at guys who buy things for porn stars in hopes of that.

yeah plus you can buy twitch viewers from some service like https://streamhomies and get your stream get your stream going 1-100 real quick

I remember back in the days i used to have like 1 viewer come on per stream and that was mad depressing, but once you grow by streaming everyday it gets easier, just like a snowball

Money starts rolling in, brands start hitting you up to work with you, twitch is like the new Instagram for Gamers

best advice i could give you is to stream everyday, and get a good bot or use some service to bot for you. will defiantly pay off in the end if you take it slow
