I'm looking for hosting that will not block you out of your entire hosting account just because of a complaint.. Would if the complaint was false or incorrect?
Would if I had 20 websites on the hosting and had a complaint for only 1 website, that means I would be blocked from accessing all my websites even tho the federal laws says-->As required by federal law, we have taken action to prohibit access to the material until the violation ceases. Thats right, prohibit access to the material thats in question not my whole entire account SMH

Dude they're just covering their backside. You see if they don't shut you down their whole business gets shut down. If you want to do things that violate Federal law host your website outside of the US. Cayman Islands, China, Sealand, anywhere but the US. If you insist on hosting in the US get a separate account for each of your websites that way if they shut 1 down the other accounts are not affected.

Also it's "what" not "would" ... just in case English isn't your first language.

If you get a lot of complaints, you need to move offshore. Katz Global is pretty good hxxp://www.katzglobal.com/hosting/offshore_hosting_dedicated.html
 
My friend is selling copyright material items.. Do he needs to use off sea hosting?

Any suggestions on who to use? And are there servers just as fas as US?
 
selling copyrighted material is definantly something to take offshore imo, your going to piss a lot of people off!
 
What are some good hosting companies that will warn you when a complaint is filed??

I would think not for $44 a month
 
wow u are all doing some serious blackhatting to pay $200 a month for servers.. Why would u need such a powerful server?
 
Dude, if you want protection you have to pay for protection. I pay $400 a month for one of my bullet proof hosts, and worth every penny.

It'd sure be nice if you could spam all you want and sell illegal material while be hosted on Hostgator for $4.99 a month wouldn't it :)

But can't you just get a reseller account and create an account for each of your domain names. Yes, i know its a bit troublesome but at least only one of your account will be closed down am i right?

Please correct me if i am wrong
 
Yep blackhat rich that is wrong. Even with a reseller account your host will shut you down and then tell you to handle the domain with the complaints and let them know the result. $200/month is pennies if you can pull 5-10k a week

Yes your right but I dont cant if they just shut down the one site, the thing is I dont want all my sites shut down because of 1 site. A reseller account will work

Actually ur right blackrich. with a reseller account I can put multiple sites on different accounts. So if 1 site gets shut down then thats fine because it will not affect my other sites on the other accounts..:cool:
