It's not the cheating concept that I am interested in, but removing things live on screen during a screen broadcast whilst still broadcasting.

Thanks, but it seems that's only effective for when it's in full screen which is good for gaming. I would like to record my desktop for educational purposes and have some things on display to help me personally but for them to not be in the final video when ready to publish.

I'm not home to check it out.
Maybe try with 2 monitors?
Also, you can search how cheaters do this and it might help you.
