Anybody implementing the 'Bum Marketing Method'?

I mean.

- Find an affiliate product which has decent gravity and you know that it's selling.

- Find a targetted keyword with low competition and enough search volume so its worth your time. I Usually aim for 500-1000 searches per month, exact keyword, anything higher is a bonus.

- Write a well written article about the chosen topic and include personal story.

- Tell them about your chosen product and how much its helped you.

- Include affiliate link at the bottom.

- Easy to rank high because of the trust factor. (Ezine articles, squidoo etc)


I was just wandering if people are still using this method, and if there making money with it.

its old. but it still works. i don't do it but know people that do.

article marketing still works...it all need dedication

Article marketing has an infinite number of twists -- new sites for articles, new niches, new products, new avenues (ie youtube) etc. Lots of people still make bank with this and it's one of the few things that truly has less than $10 startup cost (including a domain). Remember that with Ezine Articles, you can't link directly with aff links anymore. Other than that, look for a loophole and make the methods your own. =)

tried it, had a little succes but lots and lots of work.

lots of work is right... the good thing about it is that you could make money alot in the long run if your article ranks well in the search engines. Im still eating from articles i wrote a few months ago so im still fucking wit it...
