Anybody here take supplements?

Omega 3 fish oil
Greens + multi
Vega sport energy supplement when working out

Wow what are all these things? I've never heard of at least 2/3 of the stuff mentioned. I just eat when I'm hungry and whatever there's in the fridge and is not yet spoiled.

I'm glad I'm not the only one staring blankly some of these lists. :p

If I remember to take my multivitamin, it's a good day. Otherwise, I just eat whenever I'm hungry and try to keep as balanced of a diet that a college kid can afford.

All those fancy supplements with shiny labels dont do shit.

A good high protein diet is all you need to grow.
zma, tribulus and all that stuff doesnt do much.

creatine, glutamine, bcaa's and protein shake are all pretty good and dont cost much.

Iv been training strictly for about 4 years and was a personal trainer up until recently, i stopped and took up IM fulltime.

Nothing beats a good diet and good training program.

Heres my current diet

8am - 100 grams oats
40grams whey protein

11am - 300 grams steak or chicken
80 grams basmati rice
1 cup veggies

1pm - 100 grams oats ground up in a blender and mixed with 50 grams protein

3pm - 300 grams steak or chicken
300 grams sweet potato
1 cup veggies

4:30pm - training
5:30pm - straight after training 50 grams whey protein and 50 grams dextrose

6:30 - 250 grams tuna
80 grams rice
1 cup veggies

8:30 50 grams protein

stats - 6 ft, 215 lbs, 12% bf

If you wanna grow you gotta eat lol. I am so sick of meat i feel sick just looking at it

Hey guys,

Aside from a good diet and workout plan, any of you take supplements?
Or do you just eat fast food all day and your chair is also your bed? lol :D

What are some good supplements? I know about fish oil and I still need to do more research on others.
BTW, what is your diet and workout routine like?

The newer natural testosterone boosters like the ones made by Driven Sports are great for guys in their mid 20's and onwards.

Djokovic take supplements, too.

It's his secret for endurance.

And there are natural supplements, not chemical stuff.

If you want to know more, contact me via pm.

whey protein shake with a banana and berries mixed in.

Multi vitamin early in the morning after jogging, plus a protein shake and glutamine. Chia oil capsules at lunch time (omega oils), and another protein shake after gym. If you spend a lot of time sitting at the computer, exercise, supplements and healthy eating habits are a must (IMO).

Heh, this thread is full of BS, all the supplements...heh, most supplements = BS WSO ;)

If it were to compare where are you guys now, as I see the responses, in weight training and diet it would be noob level at BHW and i'm an administrator watching spam xD :D

Curious about your best lifts ?

Actually most supplements are ok, except the miracle ones everyone and their grandmas' promotes via CPA (acai and the likes). In my case Iron is very important in order to keep anemia at bay. Creatine and L-Carnitine are also proven to help with weight training and other physical activities, and I really notice the difference when I go the intensive training route. I don't use much weight because I don't want to look like a guy, but I surely notice faster results in bf reduction and muscle tone/volume.

I do a protein shake with frozen fruit and skim milk in the morning. I also take 2 hypercuts. Before workout, 3 ethyl ester kre alkaline and then 3 more after. Also Noxipro before workout. Isolate protein shake after workout and 4 BCAAs.

I work out 2 hours 4-5 times a week. 15 minutes of cardio to warm up. 1 hour of weights (different body parts each day), followed by 45 minutes of cardio.

Trying to lose weight as well as build muscle.

Lost about 40 pounds since February.

Friday/Saturday - meow meow
Rest of the Week - greenery

Lost about 1500 pounds since January :D

If you are a girl may I suggest to go as hard as you can ?

The only thing that will matter will be the rep range but you can't get bulky.. I hate hearing girls that say that they are afraid to go look like a guy..

Blah girls, the ones that you see that are looking like a guy are probably taking GH or other anabolic steroids.

I probably have more testosterone in my left ear than you have in your whole body..

Joke aside, many girls are sabotaging their chance to have a awesome "but", faster and bigger because they like training with pinky weights
Then the only thing that you are doing is metabolic work which equals burned calories.

But if you want to hit the right spot ( BHW terms, ditch the 0.23 $/day adsense and go for the 1000k/day )

Big weights + squats, deadlifts, glute ham, etc... I aint going into program creation are the right thing for any girls

Now question is where do you guys purchase your supplements? Canada or North America speaking? I heard gnc is a rip off

you might have a very minor case of serious mental retardation

do you even know that whey and creatine are the same proteins found in milk? it's not some "bs" that doesn't work.

I do, best for me during muscle mass are Creatine, Whey, Omega 3 and on definition I also implement BCAA, Fat Burner
