Hey guys,

Aside from a good diet and workout plan, any of you take supplements?
Or do you just eat fast food all day and your chair is also your bed? lol :D

What are some good supplements? I know about fish oil and I still need to do more research on others.
BTW, what is your diet and workout routine like?

I take fish oils and Porridge in the morning

Then before workout/training i take No explode then after a protein shake and for tea i eat Chicken and brown rice and broccoli.

Snacks you can just have some nuts or a protein bar.

Edit: If you dont have time to eat i recently bought some herbalife protein shakes and they taste nice

-1 Multi-vit in the morning
-3-4 BCAA pills before workout
-Protein powder (ON)
-Protein bars

Get my omega-3s from the salmon. Get my fibers from the oats.
Get my calcium from the milk. Get my creatine from the meat.

You don't eat vegetables?

I use Whey and try to eat vegetables at every meal.

Protein Powder (40 mgs every morning), again if I workout

Cod liver oil (1000mg) 2 in the morning, 2 at night

Vitamin D-3 (5000 IU) 1 in the morning, 1 at night

Athletic Greens - Once daily

Yes I take fish oil, vitamin c, D3 and others depending on the seasons.

KRE-ALKALYN 120 CAPS ALL AMERICAN EFX- post workout Creatine
EFX

I take Vit C (always feel better when I'm taking it) and fish oil.

I take a good multi-vitamin, Udos Oil (it's all plant-based Omega 3, 6, and 9), protein shakes, and protein bars.

I also take 10,000 IU of Vitamin D3 every 3 days or so for my immune system and other benefits. Then I take a Vitamin B12 supplement since I don't eat meat and B12 is like the only thing hard to get from plant sources.

I personally feel that NO-explode and all that pre-workout stuff is a waste of money so I don't use it.

Other than that I try to eat really healthy. Lots of fruits and greens and protein. I don't eat meat so I eat a lot of tofu, tempeh, and meat substitutes made of soy protein.

As for working out, I try to go about 4 times a week and hit each body part really good once per week. I stick to free weights and don't really use machines at all (except for the cables).

As soon as i wake up:
-Protein shake (whey)
-multi vitamin
-eggs and oatmeal
-banana

Lunch:
usually something with more protein like a grilled chicken sandwhich

Prework:
eat some complex carbs (for long lasting energy during workout)
take a protein shake
take White flood (pre workout sup.i like it more then jacked and NOxplode)
Take green magnitude (amazing creatine sup.)

The green mag and white flood can be combined in the same glass and taken they are made to stack together.

i wait about 15-30 minutes for the pre work out sup to kick in then head to the gym

During work out:
during my work out i sip on another drink the whole work out called
purple wraath, (its basicly a BCAA sup)
and also stay hydrated with lots of water.

post workout:
usually juice to spike my insulin
then a protein shake within 30 minutes of working out.

if you wanna get more complex you can mix your casein and whey protein, to keep a steady stream of quick and slow burning protein.

I have about 3-4 whey protein shakes a day. L-glutamine before training. BCAAs in the morning and before bed. Krill oil (instead of fish oil). Vitamin B in the morning for energy levels. Lots of Vitamin C so I don't get ill from over-training. ZMA before bed. Alpha men tablets, multivitamins.

double X, da best mutlivitamin.
micronized creatine, beta-alanine, L-citrulline, vitamin D, fish oil,

if i could afford it:
zma
odorless garlic (helps keep me from getting sick)
digestive gold
live cultures

Oh, and as for workout routine. At the moment I'm training for a fight, so 30 mins strength conditioning every morning followed by 30 mins of bag work and fitness drills. Then an hour of sparring or pad work pretty much every evening, as well as an hour and half of fitness/technique work. About 10 1-2 hour sessions a week right now.

Wow what are all these things? I've never heard of at least 2/3 of the stuff mentioned. I just eat when I'm hungry and whatever there's in the fridge and is not yet spoiled.

L-Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate marketed as NOX.
Boosts nitric oxide production and blood flow to muscles. Increases your strength in workouts and sexual stamina. It is a very powerful supplement.
