reasons aside I wanted to give their musicians plan a shot anyways a few days ago but after checking Reddit for their BS I personally highly regret I impulsively got their ‘Musician’ plan man


You should email them maybe it’s just some lazy bs and they will process your payment soon

Distrokid (sadly) had some issues and a lot of artists got impacted by it

I’ll might find an available day to mass produce an album or maybe a few singles to test it out again since I’ve copped their fancy plan even though I run a year long test with BeatStars distribution platform but yeah

maybe the streams went down, or maybe something funky is going on non stop with your distributor

maybe it’s some new year BS ideas they’re trying and maybe feeling too confident to scam high warning artists but I truly believe they shouldn’t take the heat even though they might be responsible for it

I see a lot of shie going on lately but it’s mainly due to fake streams and claims are real or not, I see legit successful artists getting impacted by it.

I’d still recommend them for the reputation they’ve build themselves over the years as the most convenient platform for distribution but I’d sure will check the stats myself and compare with their own calculations and again, like I’ve said before on the spot, I hope you do have an accessible Spotify artist page and an Apple one as well

Apple are highly transparent with their payment so it’s the best by far

on the other side above all this chaos I still see successfully botted and PAID IN FULL Spotify artists making a killing and publicly speaking about their passive income success story

I’d really stats with the stats my man and I can check with a few artists myself and see if anyonehad a sudden drop unrelated to the marketing of their releases

the algorithm might did ‘kill’ a nice cut of your streams but it might be false
