Anybody has success with directory links?

Hey, i use submiteaze for directory submission and the software itself works very good. However most of the submissions don't get approved and the approved submissions don't get indexed in google. I submitted to 500 directorys, but there are no changes in Serps and no backlinks are showing up in YSE. Although i pinged all of them. So who has success with directory links and what's the right way to do it? Thx

Depending on the competitiveness of your niche, if directory links is all you are getting you probably aren't going to see the best success.

No, i don't use directory links as the only one backlink source. But i can't see any success, even in micro niches.

Directories are great for getting indexed and diversity. That's about it.

I always use directory submissions as part of my SEO campaigns, but more out of habit than anything else. I haven't noticed any great rankings as a direct result of them.

By the way, I just submit to 20-30 high PR directories manually, rather than using any automatic software.
