Anybody had Google Authorship Re-Instated?

I know that Google reduced the number of searches that showed the blog owners Google Authorship picture. This happened in December and there were a few posts about it on here! Has anybody who lost theirs actually had it reinstated yet?

I believe it was based on the quality/authority of the site and not the actual person. Would be interested to see if anyone has managed to get theirs back yet?

I only activated mine about 1 week before Google decided to reduce it (typical) It showed up for that week and then disappeared. I read somewhere that a lot of black&white images were removed but I don't think there was any real evidence of this!!!
 
Mine also stopped displaying after 2 weeks, may be because there was 0 activity on my g plus account.
 
From memory it was only some niches that lost it? Can't remember where I read that.

There are still a lot of sites in my niche that still have it, so It can't be that. I'll just keep improving my authority and hopefully it will be back soon!!
 
Damn thanks bro! Mine was a B&W and it was a serious 200+ page authentic content blog. I will give it a shot and see if it works!

Woohoo! My google authorship is showing again in the searches. Maybe my site gained a bit more authority or maybe it was an increase in my g+ followers!!

funnily enough my image came back and my rankings dropped 3 positions. Haha

sure I'll be number 1 in no time
 
I had my pic removed and it is still not re-instated. I had around 1300 G+ followers and some nice activity on my profile.. but i was using picture of a cartoon character :) Maybe that's the reason they removed it.
 
yes i have also copy a lot of images from other sources is that a problem?
 
Hmmmm.... After having my Google Authorship re-instated 4 month ago, it seems to have disappeared again. Anyone else had this?
