Anybody got any ideas on monetizing a Subreddit with 50k+ subscribers?

I have been working on building this subreddit for a few years now. But i really haven't found a way to monetize it? Any Ideas you willing to share?

So you were doing all that work without any money coming ?

The affiliate is the best choice
 
Really depends on your community. You could try to add some promotional content in your "about" section. You need to be careful though, because if you have an active community they might report you for trying to take advantage of being the owner/admin of the subreddit.

As I said your community might be cool with it, but I know that a lot aren't. That's what paid ads are for. Reddit is super strict when it comes to obvious advertising outside of PPC. Doesn't mean it's impossible, it definitely isn't, but you gotta be smart about it. Contribute, bring value and then do your subtle promotion.
 
Don't forget to add yourself as admin with another account, so in case your account gets banned you don't kiss sub goodbye.
 
If I were you I'd try and see if you can't build a website for that niche, then link your posts. Depends on the niche of course, but if you can create content that matches it should give you a nice bump in the early stages and constant source of traffic.
 
You can do a lot of things like collaboration, affiliate marketing, cross-promotion etc. depending on your niche.
 
Depends on the topic.....but all you have to do is offer something that helps them achieve something preferably if you can announce it with proof you already had success with it.

Buzz marketing, branding, discussions about your own products and voila. You can sell someone's product under different names.
 
Niche-related mostly.
- Affiliate according to the niche.
- Contact suppliers in your niches, and offer them a deal to display their info/content for a share of the revenue.
