anybody ever used these private proxies list?

    I've tried using the private proxies found here:

    but when i do I enter the IP # and port into my firefox and then try to surf and it goes into some odd site and am unable to surf... anyone know why?

    A private proxy is a privately owned proxy, usually not shared with others.
    So a "private proxy list" can not really exist.

    Use other proxies if those send you to odd sites, it's a well known fact that there are ten thousands of hijacking and logging proxies out there to get your data/passwords, inject malware or ads.
    Either accept that fact and try to do the best with public proxies, or invest a bit money and get an own proxy. (when you buy,I suggest to order from a reputable member on BHW. Just pick your favorite package/service)
