I created this extremely simple website (basically a landing page) just for fun to see how effective this method really is...
I gave away an information product I created myself which one can buy for $150-200. The landing page contained a video and 3 fake video testimonials. The product was behind a simple content locker.
The video I had on the landing page I also uploaded to YouTube. Now the interesting part - I never gave the website nor the video on YouTube any attention what so ever! I actually managed to totally forget it...
Anyhow it managed somehow to actually bring in conversions! Like 2 weeks passed by and suddenly I started to get messages about conversions. Considering how few people that must have found the site the conversion rate must have been huge.
Anybody else who have tried this method? Was if profitable for you?
