    Hi,
Sorry in advance, I asked already in the support page but not getting any answer.

I’ve noticed the plugin is acting strangely (I think after wordpress upgrade)

1- Its syndicating post from RSS where the last RSS update was a month ago.
2- I can’t unsubscribe and delete syndicates site. (page keeps loading )
3- I’ve tried to deactivate and delete the plugin (even deleting the whole foldervia FTP) but
when resinstalling it, the old syndicates sites are still there.

Has anyone else experienced the same?

Could it be another plugin not working properly? (WP Missed Schedule)

    Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you to try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cybersyn/

    Features:
    1. Automatically generates WordPress posts from RSS/Atom feeds and runs your site on autopilot.
    2. Embeds videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr, IGN, Ustream.tv and DailyMotion RSS feeds. Just enable the "Embed videos" option and the plugin will automatically extract and embed videos with descriptions directly into your posts.
    3. Generates featured images (post thumbnails).
    4. Stores syndicated images on the local host.
    5. Advanced RSS/Atom parsing algorithm has the ability to pull the feeds fully automatically. Furthermore, you can assign the updating period to each particular feed. Also you can set up a maximum number of posts that will be syndicated at once. This is a very useful feature for SEO of your blogs.
    6. Adjustable post uniqueness identification by GUID, post name or both.
    7. Full Text RSS extractor is 100% free and allows one to import full-text articles. This feature is based on freeware GPL library by fivefilters.org. It is recommended to use the Full Text RSS extractor with the "link to source" option enabled to give credit to the original content owner. This built-in feature works right out of the box. No 3rd-party services or paid API keys!

    @CyberSEO

    Sorry another question:

Will these two settings conflicts with each other?

I didn't understand the difference. And do I need to set the CRON at all?

I wanna the RSS to be checked and pull posts every 30 minutes.

Just noticed that although the sceduling is set to 30 minutes, it doesn't pull the feeds unless someone visit the site.

Do you think the following CRON command would work?

    /usr/bin/curl --silent http://mywordresssite.com?update_cybersyn=1

The WordPress pseudo cron ("auto mode" in CyberSyn) triggers only when someone visits your site (please read more here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_schedule_event).

So if you set the feed to be pulled every 30 minutes, but your site is being opened by visitors only once a hour, the feed will be also pulled once a hour.

If you want to pull a feed by some exact schedule, you have to use the normal server-side cron. If you select it in the "RSS pull mode" box, CyberSyn will show you the exact cron command. This command has a secret parameter, which is unique for your site, so no one else could trigger the feed syndicator.

    Hi @CyberSEO,

    hope you can help.

I've just noticed that although the "Store images locally" option is disabled, WP stil uploads the images in the /wp-content/uploads folder.

If I open a post and right click-->view image it open the external url where the image is located, but strange things is that upload the images locally as well, furthermore, uploads different sizes of the same image,

could you please have a look?

    Thanks a lot in advance.
