Hi, thanks for reply. Unfortonately, in some countries outside US even the pre paids have registration needs, including copying documents for phone operators. And viber seems not to work fore me.

No they don't, and usually you don't need cash in them to receive texts either. The ones I got (Orange), needed to be active every 6 months (receiving phone calls, texts etc), to keep them alive, which is ideal here actually since the main reason for buying them is to receive texts.. in this case from FB.
