Any work for an 11 year old?

xashishx" is right .Dont put your brother on cross for your goal.Let him study,we can make money any time we want but 11 years is the age of studying.

If your brother is really motivated I'd have him take a look at forums and maybe help him create his own niche blog (have him write about something he is interested in).

But the most important thing is do not babysit him. In order to become successful he has to learn to be independent. If you babysit him now he will learn to ask you whenever he is unsure of something, when instead he should be learning how to problem solve for himself.

I like the idea of making this an independent project for him, then pay him for whatever work he has completed, more for better work, and less for worse work (but still gets paid either way).

Look guys, he has plenty of time to study. In fact, he studies/does homework for about 2 hours a day (.5-1 hour on weekends) and still gets PLENTY of free time to play. He gets bored sometimes so he asked to work with me.
He also has straight A's according to what I've heard from my mother, so I don't think 1 hour or less a day (with plenty of days off a week) will hurt him at all.

When I was that age, I used to go next door and help the neighbor with her baby because I loved babies. I would be a mother's helper and she would give me a couple of dollars. Then at 12 years old, I started babysitting. It didn't interfere with school work or grades and I loved it. This will be good for your brother. It's educational.
 
I put my brother in a website about games and cheats and he is very happy with that
He may be can do some facebook stuff, create a fan page and share stuff to increase fans
 
As someone mentioned, captcha solving is a nice little thing he can do. But if its more about interest about computers and the internet then maybe he can get into programming/coding.
 
Basic basic programming, preferably just html and css. This is the best place to start then when he feels he is ready javascript then php/mysql.

I personally went:
12: html/css
15: javascript/ruby
16: php/mysql
17: c#/c++
18+: College CS
And I regret nothing other than the fact that my parents tried to keep me off the PC when I was younger. Now I have a Masters in CS.

If he is interested in IM, programming is the way to go. If he is not even a little interested in math or programming and is more into english/history writing articles might be better. Whatever plays to his strengths would be what I would introduce him to.

I highly doubt it'll interfere with his work or grades at school. He's hardly even going to work every day.
Right now, I put him to write articles for my blog (I hand-edit them afterward) and he works now maybe 1 hour per 3-5 days. It's not a lot of work, I'm going to help him learn how to make a landing page over the summer but he shouldn't be working a lot anyway.

Yeah, maybe get some creativity out of him and see what he can do with a Wordpress website.

Captcha solving has always been one of my top options for him. The problem is, I can't find a service that pays users to do Captchas.

Yeah, I'm doing articles for him and he's hardly working but efficient at creating articles.
Anymore ideas? Looking for more. :)
 
If you are good in writing then you might make a good pocket money through it
 
Could be me but I don't see the problem. I see problems in letting him do capcha solving though. He would get so bored he'd run and hide. Right now he wants to learn so let him. You would be taking his childhood if you forced it upon him, you are not and therefor you are actually being a great older brother. :)

I don't think it really matters what he does as long as he is smiling while doing it. Wouldn't be too afraid of teaching him about IM either as you are there to guide him and make sense of it all. In the end he will either drop it in 6 months or have an extra advantage on the rest of us, teaching you a trick or two too...

You are already making sure he gets his homework done so just look at this as another course (summer school?), one he can drop at any time.
Kids play, let them. :) Why deny him a hobby?

Well if you could teach him some coding,3d design,photoshop or anything which is fun i`m sure he would like it. :)
There are some really cool softwares which let him do some creative things and if you could help him make some money from that...i`m sure he will love it.
 
use him as a YT views tool..lol..tell him to refresh YT vids and to use proxies...lol
 
give him a blog and let him write about his childhood and how he got in IM as a 11 year old. Add adsense to it and don't let him know...LOL

Listen to this man. I wish I started learning this stuff when I was 11. I always wonder how much $$ I could have made if all the time I spent killing cows in Diablo 2 was used to learn IM or something similar...
 
Yea definitely get him his own website so he can brand himself.

After he figures out a way to make money online, start making youtube videos and pictures of him talking about internet marketing. Then sell a course or ebook saying if a 11 year old made money online then you can too.

Have him resell fiverr gigs on craigslist or sell things on ebay for people. He can do anything we all do really.
