what does white hat means actually? White hat is a process to get natural backlinks linking to your worthy web page and not to manipulate SERPs, i think that's the definition?

Dont get me wrong but every SEO service out there that helps you to put backlinks in web 2.0 properties and blog posts linking to your website can't be considered natural. You would want to publish your content through link bait process if you want to do it white hat. The rest aren't really white hat...

I actually started a thread not long ago to get thoughts on some really clean whitehat link building services I was thinking of starting perhaps next month. Just look for the thread on this whitehat forum (as I cannot post a link).

(at) wokaka, in my opinion - a whitehat SEO would be someone who knows how to get relevant traffic through search engines while not creating risk for clients. The techniques and methods used by a whitehat are typically based on industry best practices mixed with some out of the box thinking. No automation, high quality, Google abiding, ect. However, probably 90% of claimed whitehat SEOs don't really fit the bill - it's a tough and competitive gig that requires constant learning and evolution.

If you want white hat technique then go for web directories because this web directory links are genuine and good for site to increase traffic and for Google ranking. It take more time to accept site but good for site.

As far as I know paying to get links is NOT white Hat, even if you offer a totally manual and link bait method and get a client ranked, the fact that he is paying you makes it black hat.
