Any way to get refund?

Hey, I need some help from eBay experts here!

So basically, item that I paid for wasn't delievered to me, since seller probably didn't even send it. His reputation is really good (over 1300 positive feedbacks). Item was supposed to be delievered within 4 weeks of receiving payment, but he was sending me messages saying "please wait 2 more weeks" etc., and now, I cannot send him message, he probably blocked me somehow. I sent him message 4 days ago, but I got no reply. I cannot contact eBay buyer support since more than 45 days have passed of payment date.

What should I do? How can I get money refund (if there is any way to get it) ?

This was my first time buying there, but I won't do it anymore, for sure.

The over 45 days thing has stuffed you with eBay and PayPal. Where did the funds come from originally? Was is a credit card? You might be able to put a claim in.

Also where are you based, someone might know local laws that you could use.

If you are within 45 days - 60 days timeframe from your purchase date you might want to contact paypal via phone to talk to them about your situation.Certainly you should had opened a case either with ebay or a dispute with paypal after 1 month of receiving nothing from that seller because after a specific timeframe passes you cannot fill disputes anymore.If you paid via credit card and through paypal then you might have a chance getting you money back if you fill a chargeback with your credit card company, good luck.

shit happens, you never know, there are vis major circumstances which can influence the shipping

once i ordered perfume from US to EU, it took them 5 weeks to ship it, because of some custom trouble i guess
they promised 30 day international delivery, of course i filed a dispute after i didn't get the goods in time, before the 45 day period was over and i won it, they shipped w/o tracking nr. and when i expected the least, i get the goods too
then i ordered once again from the same place and it took only 1 week to ship it

moral of the story: you need to file the dispute until you can and don't care much about what they say, meanwhile if you get the goods, you can drop the case, if not, well, it should be their loss, but not yours

Yeah, it was my first time and I didn't know what to do. I just used my PayPal funds. I'll try to do dispute now.

Never and never use paypal fund to pay for anything.
