    Honestly that doesn't always fix it.
    I have found to mask the referer it's best to use a work flow pattern like this:
    To increase speed check if referer is blank every time before going to the next phase.

    Double Meta Refresh
    Code:
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url='other-meta-refresh-link.php'">

    Header Location
    Code:
    <?php header("Location: out.php"); ?>

    Javascript form submit (On a safe domain)
    Code:
    <html>
            <head>
            </head>
            <body>

                    <form name="form1" id="form1" method="get" action="myaffiliatelink">
                    </form>
                    <script type="text/javascript">
                            document.form1.submit();
                    </script>

            </body>
    </html>

    Of course you should always verify your outgoing referers if you're doing something a bit dodgy and just divert traffic to somewhere else!

    I have found that a meta refresh time of 0 does not blank the referrer. It has to be set to a value greater than 0. That then causes some traffic to be dropped (not redirected for whatever reason).

    I have used the Hrefer website (web based cloaker) with no issues....apparantly they do a quadruple meta refresh...but I have no idea if there is any truth to that statement....
