I just couldn't figure out why i keep getting phone verification
i made a bot and it works great on many platforms like reddit and outlook...etc without getting detected
but linkedin keeps giving me the phone number verification, does it always do that ? because on the phone i don't get it and a new pc it's kind of a luck thing sometimes i do sometimes i don't
i tried a phone verification service but the account got locked in an hour after verification (the ip location country and phone number country were not the same) maybe that's why i don't know, any tips

LinkedIn may analyze your device's unique characteristics (e.g., browser, OS, plugins) to identify automated activity

LinkedIn is strict with bots. Use residential proxies matching the account location, simulate human behavior with delays, maintain consistent device profiles, and warm up accounts gradually. Avoid mismatched IP and phone locations. Emulate mobile browsers if needed.

From my humble experience, phone verification gives when the IP has been used for account creation for the past X (unknown) amount of time.

After creating account if you enable 2 step verification using google authenticator then you don't need phone verification i tried this method and working well.

LinkedIn uses a mix of factors to detect suspicious activity, including IP address, browser fingerprinting, and phone verification. It's likely why you're only sometimes getting the verification prompt.

A few tips:

  • Make sure the IP location and phone number country match, as you've identified that mismatch as a potential issue.
  • Avoid using proxies or VPNs that could make your location look suspicious.
  • ensure the bot is not performing actions too quickly or in a way that might flag LinkedIn’s security system.
  • You might want to try creating the account directly on your phone instead of a new PC, as it seems to be more consistent for you.
