I have a special affiliate arrangement with a site which pays very well. The problem is that they use a shitty affiliate system that doesn't accept any URL queries, which are fundamental to my job. So I convinced them to use a tracking system like Linktrackr, at least for me.

Problem is, they get many sales bearing cookies of both their original system and Linktrackr, so they attribute them manually following the last-click rule (ie the youngest cookie gets the sale). This means that tons of "my" sales get attributed to others. Fine... when it's fair.

However, I'm under the strong impression that they "steal" some sales here and there and it pisses me off. However, my proof is purely statistical and I can't be too bitchy about it as they are a big revenue source I couldn't replace.

So... I'm wondering if there is some kind of a trick that would allow me to grab a few more of those last-clicks to compensate what I think I'm getting deprived of

Any wild idea is truly appreciated!

Nothing you can do. Either accept it as the cost of doing business or find a replacement source. I disagree with you when you say you cannot replace them as there is very rarely a monopoly in an online niche
