Any tricks for generating more $$ on Youtube views with adsense?

I've got a Youtube channel with adsense/partnership or whatever it's called and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for improving the amount of $$ I am making per 1000 views.

Right now I only seem to be making between 25 cents and 35 cents for each 1000 views that my videos get. Is there any changes I can make to my videos/account to make that higher? I don't think I'm in such a competitive niche so that's probably why.. But should I try maybe sneaking higher EPC keywords into the description or title or something? .. although I don't even know how I'll do that with making it relavant.. Also, if I do that, does it have to be in the title? Or is it just ok in the description only?

The biggest and lifesaving tip I can give you on this topic, don't spam the the description or use any word more than twice in your description. there is literally no way to get them back if they get taken off from YouTube. I had a video that was making around 200 dollars a month taken off because I ended up putting the same repetitive sentence four times as additional tags in the description and it ended badly. The worst thing about it all, it was nearly 2 years after the video was published. Extremely sad and frustrating and I did everything to attempt to get it back but YouTube declined the appeal.
