Any tools still working for safe tiered link building?

Back in the day, I used GSA and Scrapebox heavily, but most of those footprints are burnt. Are there any reliable tools in 2025 that still work for building tiered links without burning money or getting instant penalties? Looking for honest feedback from anyone using them daily.

Still GSA SER with the right engines and original content + XRumer.
 
Different strokes for different folks. SEO has different stacks that work independently on an incalculable number of variations, kind of like coding C/C++, react, node.js, vite, etc. The list goes on! The key is determining and understanding the metrics.
 
Most old tools like GSA and Scrapebox don’t work safely anymore. In 2025, it’s better to focus on manual, high-quality link building or use trusted services with real content and slow growth. Automation tools often risk penalties now.

You can find some sick gems on Scrapebox, you just need to know what query to run haha

True, Scrapebox can still find some good stuff if you know exactly what to search for. But for steady, safe growth, I stick to manual work and trusted quality sources. Keeps things clean and long-lasting.

Research your own footprints if the ones that come as standard aren't picking anything up when you scrape. There are CMS installations in all sorts of languages - look at their Github repos and look for language translation files to see what could used as footprints for say French, German, and Spanish sites.

The engine files in GSA are also fairly easy to understand for anyone with some knowledge of web requests. Most haven't been updated for years but may just need a few tweaks here and there to get going again.
 
RankerX is still solid for tiered link building — especially now with its premium sites (high-authority Web 2.0s and CMS platforms). These are much safer for Tier 1 if you use unique content, branded or generic anchors, and natural link placement. Keep the automation gentle (low velocity, drip feed), and combine with manual outreach to make your Tier 1 look clean and diverse.
 
Manual PBN links plus verified directories for second-tier works without raising flags.

the risks of automated link building remain the same as they have for years. simply having a website and relying on serp traffic is a risk in itself. if you arent taking risks, are you really doing any marketing? or just hoping for visits?
 
The old tools remains the king for now. If there are newer tools working better than Scrapebox, XRumer and GSA, I'm not aware of
 
Man, those old methods are mostly dead. Trying to do that kind of volume these days is a fast track to problems. Better to focus on creating genuinely valuable content and getting organic recognition. Anything aiming for high volume on its own carries serious risk now.
 
I used SEONEO. It was decent but nothing amazing. I found most of these tools don't move the needle enough. Better off link building properly and/or buying good PBN links.
 
GSA and most of the old tools no longer work in 2025. The only reliable method will be manual outreach, guest posts and clean links. Automated tiered link tools typically result in penalties.
