GSA and Scrapebox used to be great, but most footprints are burnt now. Are there any updated tools that still work for building tiered links without getting instant penalties?

Yeah true most old school footprint based tools don’t work the same way anymore. These days it’s more about quality automation and mixing manual work. Tools like GSA or Scrapebox can still be useful for indexing, scraping, or powering up lower tiers, but for actual tiered link building you’ll get better results using a mix of niche edits, cloud links, and contextual placements with natural anchors. The key is to keep things diverse and avoid obvious patterns.

Private PBNs or aged domains as tiers can still be effective if done subtly.

Hosting your own PBN is about the safest way of ranking these days. A small pbn on good domains will beat out most of the competition on it's own. Spending much time with shitty tools like scrapebox isnt going to get you far

Consider vetted link services or agencies that build manual placements - slower but far safer for long-term.

It is better you can go with PBN domains for effectiveness.Tools like scrapebox is not working properly nowadays.

You’re right — GSA and Scrapebox are pretty Okay now. However, I’d recommend checking out RankerX — it’s still effective for tiered link building if used smartly (mainly for Tier 2/3). It’s got updated platforms, a visual campaign builder, and safer automation to avoid obvious footprints.

i think in general most old tools won't wonk the same way as before.. with all of the updates happening, I'm sure "old tools" would also have updates that they;ve done on their end. Use RankerX or try looking into PBN domains - scrapebox and GSA arent working like they used to.

Everyone claims their agency is doing real outreach, then you get your report and they all have the same theme with a different colour palette. Finding real outreach agencies is a nightmare.
