ive searched through the forum and the G but cant find anything, this will be the first time buying ffom an article writing service so any help would be great 
any tips on buying articles?

Sorry, my last reply was somewhat flippant...
Always ask to see a sample of the writer's work for sure.
Consider the writer's style from what you read in his/her sample works. Does it accord with your needs? Does the writer's style seem a bit "dry"? Can they adapt and inject a bit of humour or at least make the writing more relaxed? You want your reader to like what they are reading and stay on your page.
Don't hesitate to ask for what you want. You are the Paymaster General after all.
Make sure that copyright to the articles passes to you as well.

You can also outsource them at freelancer.com and other sites like it.
That way, you can see their style of writing and choose the better people
Do not give or post a milestone... if they decide to not do your work, your money will be stuck with freelancer for days before you get it back.

Use BST secession here. You can find good amount of people offering services. And its not true that only native english people can write good articles, you should test with giving few articles first before ordering bulk.

i have had good luck having articles written on freelancer on mundane things as well as highly technical things. you just have to choose carefully.

I have put up intriguing ads on craigslist posting the writing tasks as "challenges to impress" and have come across some great writers.
