Any tips for increasing page rank ?

Hi
I have a community forum. I have much visitors and users. But my pagerank is 0. I want to have atleast PR1 on my forum. Can you guys give me some tips to increase my PR ?

There is no way to increase the page rank manually. And google already say that, they will never update page rank in future. You have to wait for the update on page rank.
 
Google page rank in not that important for seo, the only way to increase your PR Value is to have at least one link back from high pr page and this link should not have this htm tag on it "index=nofollow".
 
I think it has been over a year since the last pagerank, so PR1 or PR5, your forum shouldn't be judget by that.

You should analyze how many members are coming back to it, at what length (2 times a day, 2 times a week) and how useful it is overall.

Work on building a community of friends, and leave the pr part to google.
 
It may be hard to manually build page rank but you can use tools such as Serpbook for example to track each page and see how it is ranking. By doing this you will be able to make pre-exsisting content much better and hopefully your page will rank higher. Another good tool is video marketing today- I know a business in Markham Ontario called 360 Business Local who is really good at tracking and boosting page rank if needed. Hope this helps!
 
I don't believe google is updating page rank. You can check domain authority and page authority from moz

Page ranking update has been stopped by google long back, please read about it and you will get to know.
 
The better question you should be asking is how to drive more visitors to your forum and how to keep them engaged.
 
Increment of page rank is not a easy job but with hard work you can increase your page rank. You should work hard on keywords and use social media to get more traffic.
 
Page rank doesn't matter as the page PR. So, you should concentrate on it and SEO is also a good way to increase your PR.
 
What for you need a PR value for the forum? It is just a number. Better to concentrate on monetization.
 
This thread shows how easily you can make something so ingrained that for years after people still believe it's relevant. Just like Angela profile links....

I was just about to say isn't PageRank dead now. I used to find it a great way to build links. There seems to be a couple of new ways to judge a page/websites vaule.

1. Domain Authority
2. AlexaRank
Then there is also websites such as Arefs and similar.

It would be interesting to hear from others what new signals they watch as indicators online.
 
There is not any manual option is available to increase page rank except high content quality.

1. Adopt 'content is king' approach on your website.
2. Get as many quality and relevant backlink as possible..
3. Time travel back to 5 Dec 2013 and wait for 1 day ...

Active in forums, help each others and post comments with your website link.

Wait and watch and google will increase your from zero to 1.
