Any tips For Handling Very Short Content Post?

Hi

The type of the site is similar to urban dictionary where text (actual content) is really short say max is only 200 word..site is already have thousand of pages and rank well but tanked when google update (i suspect panda ) ,

like this page https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=cock+spanker (36 word)

what is the aspect we need to look carefully when we handling very short content

Note the definitions are short but they use links. Start building the content with accuracy, then interlink.
 
You need to have at least a 400 word post. So plan to extent the length of every post by 200 words and then build backlinks to them

No you don't. Not true!

Sites have less content than 400 all the time and get indexed AND rank. Next you'll tell him if he copies content he'll get a "duplicate content" penalty or something...lol
 
Actually, you can try diversifying your site by using a unique template, that has its own unique features/plugins, and other related information, and that should increase the uniqueness of your site by a small percentage.
There are many sites on google that you can find very similar or repetitive content, but they still get displayed on the first page SERP, due to uniqueness from different aspects of their site, particularly the template, and other displayed information on the plugin, site content, related posts, etc.
 
Length is less important than having continuous content being added to the site. For a main keyword you may want long content in the main or anchor article, but it's not necessary on every single page of the site.

i also notice that ,but im also come with another though which is density ..so what do you think ? does the power comes from interlinking

It is a good option to consider, given the type of content you want to deliver. If you would consider density, that might be a challenge given Google's present algorithm.
 
OP asks about "short content" and the example used is referencing a page regarding a "cock spanker".

Are you sure it's only your content that is short, Spanky?

Less content in a page is not a matter if you embed an infographic or videos on the same page or interlink some internal pages.
 
In general, Google does not encourage the pages with less content. Even if a site has the number of fewer content pages, this will affect the site quality and also affects the metrics.

in my case sometime content indeed to short but sometime has deeper weight and meaning such as " adamantium balls", when describing those balls it might only has 100 words max on it
 
Content depends upon the amount of information available for the topic as well as average length of your competition. No fixed rule on how long it should be.

i agree with you but im having difficulty to implement this on my site.. i need good plan for smart interlink since im having difficulty finding good infographic or videos about "cock spanker"
