Hi guys. I have decided to sell some of my SEO services on fiverr. Does anyone have any tips on gig creation?

Up to now I have 1 seo related gig (for bookmark creation). I have made a pic for it, offered more that the best seller, copied his/hers tags and set the delivery for one day (does this mean it will go into the express category?).

*PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT A SALES THREAD. I AM REALLY AFTER SOME HELP ON THE SUBJECT

You seem to have done the job already except if you are looking for how to make money from it.

Fiverr is just like forums where you need reputation to be trusted.

Unfortunately, there are hundreds of thousands of gigs all competing for traffic from the site. You can not achieve success this way, you need to draw traffic from the outside world and build your reputation.

If you have a site related to your gig you can add a link to your gig if the traffic is sufficient.

You can also buy good traffic from good sites related to your area of specialization.

No matter how beautiful and stunning your offer is, it is not going to make any more until people get to see.

More than 95% of gigs are not getting the desired traffic to make money. Its just like a site, you need to drive traffic to it to make money.

Add a video showing your stuff, not just a picture only. It should help you!

It will get into express gigs only after Fiverr will see that you have actually delivered a gig or two within 24 hours.

    good luck :)

p.s. the beginning is hard - it will be easier after you will become LVL1 seller

Fiverr loves videos, it doesn't matter even if its crap(but dont put crappy videos, your clients may find it stupid and not buy your gig) but from my exprience a gig with a video will get more exposure in fiverr.

Buy a fiverr gig for a video, that's the bomb! And the quickest turnaround you can do is super helpful.

Thanks for the advice people. What I have done is looked through the reviews of a competitors gig and messaged most of them saying that they should take a look at my gig as I create more links :D

I will be buying a video gig soon. Anyone know any good gigs for this?

You can make your own video for free using Windows Movie Maker + Background videos & Royalty-free music that you can download online. Just put these together in Windows Movie Maker and add some text. It's quite simple and is what I do (and I'm no video-editing expert).

The video isn't there to necessarily convince potential customers to buy your gig. Rather, fiverr ranks gigs with videos higher in their search results. Also, don't forget to mention that you're offering the service exclusively on fiverr (even if you're not). One of my videos got rejected for not saying that it was "exclusive", so I just added that on and re-submitted successfully.

Regarding express gigs - I think that your gig is given "express" status after you've delivered 1/2 orders in 24 hours. I believe I was upgraded to Level 1 status upon my 10th order. Level 1 status allows you to add "gig extras" for additional payment in exchange for some extra service (e.g. even more backlinks/bookmarks). It also gives you extra credibility.

Best thing you can do for yourself is to get those SEO gigs up on fiverr clones. You can charge more and SEO gigs sell very well on clones. We sell TONS of them every day on MCJ

Some tips for Fiverr newbies to build feedback/reputation very fast:

    - Sell $1 Fiverr gigs until you get a good amount of positive feedbacks (10-15). How? Get in contact with potential customers on forums, facebook, twitter, etc. and propose them to buy your gig with a $4 refund. Let them buy your gig, ask them their paypal email, send the 4$. Easy way to build some reputation plus you don't need to invest a penny. After you've gained some positive feedbacks, you'll start getting real customers.

    OR

    - Create multiple accounts, buy Gigs of your main account and leave positive feedback, PLEASE don't be so obvious, leave a common review, don't exaggerate. You'll loose only $1 each time you do this but trust me, it will pay off itself later.

offer 'Free for a limited time only: 2 for 1'...also, post your gig in your sig on forums like traffic planet and comment a lot...the other rule is to offer more than your comp.

Get some people to buy your gig, friends or yourself so you can get +rep. Don't offer something outrageous like 100k backlinks over night.

    Include video as well

Actually there are some Fiverr sellers who deliver 100k live backlinks for mere $5, so it isn't outrageuous anymore.

In my opinion the key here is to sell something different and appealing to the potential customers, making your gig stand out.

    Examples (link building related):
    - Sell way more links that your competitors
    - Sell higher quality links
    - Create and sell your own, unique link pyramid scheme

These examples are SEO/link building related, but surely anyone can adapt them to other niches.
