Any tips for filtering popads traffic?

my experience is that you're better off going with quality traffic. You can bring down your cost per acquisition by improving the ad copy, targeting, landing page etc. However if the traffic is garbage, you're going to invest the same amount of time and spin your wheels...

I have already some money there and i am trying to recover at least a part of money, but i can admit that i had much better roi with other sources , i want to give it a try anyway.
What other sources please?

i am in more niches, the problem is not targeting but to not spend money on bot traffic
