I live in the Netherlands currently, to buy medicine need to get a receipt from a doctor, don't even feel like standing up - Temperature around 40, anyone got any home tips to get rid of it or at least soften it? Would really appreciate the help.
It's 10 PM, so I don't feel like cycling to any doctor with 40 around my head, I'm pretty sure there is some kind of a natural way to soften this up a bit?

Grandma protip: Slice a potato and soak it in vinegar for a few minutes then place the slices on your soles. Give it 20-30mins and you'll get better. Sounds crazy i know yet it works. Also how about a sponge bath?

Take a piece of thread, put it in cold water and put that thread in the freezer for 5 minutes or so and then take it an putted over your head.

Repeat until you have taken the vast majority of heat out of your head. Works every time with me.

You could also try Ibuprofen to reduce it.

Get a ton of fresh green leafy greens and consume nothing but green smoothies/juice and water for a day and have positive thoughts. Ginger tea is also great! Trust me, you do not want to take those nasty medications. I am sure you will be fine by tomorrow!

Found another grandma tip, basically drink Milk + Soda + Honey(Tastes bad, I know, but it's anti-cough A+) , after that cover up in everything I can and try to sweat as much as I can.

Going to try that one too, thanks a lot for tips everyone, no need anymore.

You shouldn't neet a recipe for paracetamol I think? You could try drinking hot cup of tea and covering yourself with a lot of blankets. Basically the idea is to sweat like never before and the body will "cool down" or something - I am not sure why, but it works.

So you are saying him to have sex.
But its proven that sex helps with that, so its not bad idea
