Any thoughts about SEO title and description?

I use rank math to write snippets and it turns out most of the titles and description look very similar for most pages, except one or two what I consider main pages. Would that affect my SERP? Like, would google see it as just duplicate material?

Using Rank Math is a solid choice, but remember, unique and engaging titles/descriptions are crucial for each page. Google's algorithms are smart enough to recognize duplicate or too-similar content, which can impact your SERP rankings negatively.

Also note that Google will rewrite your meta title and description if it feels it doesnt match the user intent enough. Actually I should have said Google will rewrite whatever they want when they want as I am constantly seeing them do it even for brand searches. But yeah you should write unique, captivating and relevant titles and descriptions but just understand Google might ignore them completely.

You have to have unique description

I have very slight change in main 3 pages. Like for example, "Greatest Website 2024 for "keyword" - Sitename" and only keywords are different for those 3 pages.
For another website, strangely enough, main page ranks lower in SERP than my posts when searched with same keyword.

I did not know this at all. It does look like google is changing the meta description after all, as I changed title and description snippet and google ignores it and changed some description.

While creating an SEO title and meta description for a webpage, you need to keep some points in mind.

1. At the beginning of the title use your major keywords and expand it will an engaging and sensible phrase. Don't just make a title fully packed with keywords without making any meaning....

2. Try to create a meta description using the major keyword in a natural flow of sentences without letting it keyword dense. It should be created from the user's point of view, not search engines. Nowadays Search Engines are working on AI and Machine Learning so they work on the intent, not on what the exact words are written. So instead of just focusing on keywords focus on creating user-engaging descriptions while ensuring a rich user experience.

The more attractive the title and description, the higher the chances of getting the user on the website after clicking on it in SERP....
