He's had a theme customized on a starter wordpress theme. You can do it yourself with a bit of patience, get a basic full-width theme and wp bakery page builder plugin. Inspect his site with the Firebug lite extension for ideas, if you're that way inclined.

You can use any builder plugins like wpbakery (former visual composer) or divi builder.
They are very easy to design with such builders. You can even design individual posts with a completely different layout using these.

yes this theme is customized by developer. you cant find such a same theme
