I know SSL is the cause of the problem but is there any way of sniffing the keywords being used to access a site now Google Analytics is 90% (not provided) results :(

it's impossible, since Google first drive the traffic to the HTTPS verse of the domain, strips the referrer value, and pass junk to you.

So, it's unsniffable

Yup - without hacking Google servers - it can't be done.

So why not hack Google servers?

Do It now, I'll keep watch.

Quick - I can hear footsteps!

It is a shame though, We'd all love to see that lovely unmessed data.

Back to Breaking Bad (3 series left to watch) then Homeland - only watched series 1 so far. So much catching up to do!

The guys at accuranker.com seems to have solved it pretty nice. AccuRanker.com is a serp checker that allows you to bind up to Analytics and Webmaster Tools, with those two combined, including knowing which sites is ranking. They can tell you how much traffic your keywords are getting, the more keywords you add, the more precise the result will be.
