Any services that can receive Facebook SMS verification codes?

From my experience, most VoIP numbers fail for Facebook because they don’t support short-code SMS. If verification stability matters, it’s usually better to use a real SIM or services that provide non VoIP carrier numbers with short code support instead of free virtual numbers.

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to verify a Facebook account via SMS, but I know most VoIP numbers don’t receive short codes. I am not sure, but I feel fb is blocking code verification via VOIP number... it's gotta be a legit phone number.

Are there any legit services or number providers that currently work with Facebook verification SMS?
have you tried juicy sms?

5sim, if you only need to receive SMS messages once.

pingme, if you need to receive SMS messages continuously.

Facebook often blocks SMS codes to VoIP numbers.
Using a physical SIM or eSIM from a real carrier works better.

You honestly don’t need paid courses to get better, there’s a huge amount of free knowledge in forums, case studies, blogs, and YouTube if you spend time digging.
What helped me the most was building small projects like niche sites or social pages and testing things myself, because real experiments teach way more than just watching tutorials.

Public SMS receiving website

* SMSOnline

You can experiment with that platform; I think it will suit you

Yeah, you’re right — Facebook usually blocks most VoIP numbers for SMS verification. They prefer real mobile SIM numbers, because VoIP numbers are commonly used for spam or mass account creation.

From what I’ve seen, the only numbers that work consistently are real carrier mobile numbers (AT&T, Verizon, T‑Mobile, etc.). VoIP services like Google Voice, TextNow, etc. often fail or never receive the code.

Some people use SMS services that provide non‑VoIP SIM numbers, like:

  • SMSPool
  • GrizzlySMS
  • LegitSMS

These usually work better since they use real carrier numbers instead of VoIP.

Personally, the safest option is still using a real SIM number (or a prepaid SIM). Those have the highest success rate.

You can use Daisy SMS. Its the best. but This platform will closing soon. If you need it for short term then you can try.
Daisy SMS used to be solid. Since it’s shutting down, there are still a few reliable alternatives out there depending on what you need.

Yes — you’re right. Meta Platforms is now blocking most VoIP numbers for SMS verification.
VoIP numbers (Google Voice, TextNow, etc.) usually don’t work because they’re high-risk and often abused. Facebook mainly accepts real SIM-based mobile numbers.
What actually works better:
• Real physical SIM cards (best option)
• Numbers from major carriers (not cheap/free apps)
• In some cases, rented non-VoIP numbers (but quality varies)
Be careful with “free SMS sites” — many are public/shared, and your code can be seen by others.
In short:
If it’s an important account, use a real phone number. Anything else is hit or miss and can get blocked.

Currently, Meta has blocked most VoIP numbers, so not receiving SMS is very common. The most stable solution is still to use a real SIM card with the correct country for your account and avoid numbers that have been used by many people. Some services offer "non-VoIP" numbers that can be used temporarily, but still carry risks, so if you want a long-term solution, you should use a real phone number.

From what I’ve seen, Facebook has been rejecting most VoIP numbers (Google Voice, TextNow, etc.) for a while now. They usually require real carrier numbers tied to physical SIMs.
I’ve tested a few options and the only ones that seem to work consistently are non-VoIP / real SIM numbers (either local SIMs or rented numbers from SMS services).
Some providers claim to offer “non-VoIP” numbers for Facebook verification, but success rate still depends a lot on:
  • country of the number vs account location
  • whether the number was used before
  • overall account trust score
Free/public numbers almost never work anymore (or get flagged quickly).
Curious what providers are working well for others right now?

Facebook has become extremely strict with SMS verification in 2026. Most VoIP and virtual number services are instantly blocked for short code SMS. The only numbers that still work reliably are real physical SIM cards from legitimate carriers. Even many paid “high-quality” services fail quickly now.

Facebook restricts or even outright blocks VoIP numbers so you can't make this work. You should use a local SIM card and a cellphone in order to proceed with the verification of the account.

Search on Google; there are many websites that offer services to rent phone numbers to get codes.

try hero sms service. but before using new number try wait for one or two day and change your ip and try to reverify with new number.
