Any SEO Innovations?

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the vagueness of this question but one of my clients (NDA) has asked for a RFP and wants SEO "innovations"

So, my question to you wonderful bunch of people is this. What are some SEO innovations from the last year or so?

I'm trying to think outside the standard give here and provide them with some load blowing strategy ideas. I realize that it's not exactly how it works and this is why I'm a little more than stuck here.

TL;DR - Need new SEO innovations for a big client.
