Hi, do you think google is monitoring google chrome when you are creating backlinks on web pages while using this browser? I mean, if they collect our navigation habits and personal data, they could easily know if you created backlinks to your money site for right? Is it safer to use another browser like Firefox or Vivaldi or am I too paranoïd?

As the Artificial Intelligence is progressing day by day I think Google monitor everything what we are doing while using Chrome or being singing in with gmail accounts.

If they really wanted to do this they'd wipe out a lot of sites overnight.

I've spoken to people before who don't use Chrome, don't use Google docs or drive and you'd think they were employed by the NSA or CIA or something.

Google Monitors Chrome and all other actions associated with their services...but I don't think they are going to act as you feared if so we could do nothing about it. Also, what will you do if the other browsers also follow the same? chill out buddy...

I doubt it, this could lead to them breaking the law regarding privacy...
And they already have enough lawsuits pending, don't they?
I use chrome and I am fine (monitoring hundreds of sites).

I think there have no any risk to use chrome browser for link building

I can not say for sure but I don't think they use Chrome to identify link builders. Mainly because some regions have very serious laws for consumer data protection and it would be unethical for Google to do so.

If you have a multi-million business, is OK to take any precaution against the devil.
If you have a basic blog with no visits yet, yes, you are paranoid.

You also don't want your newborn and precious baby to be assclaped by the devil! Newborns need love and attention like multi-million businesses. And they recquire a lot of time and attention! I wanted to be sure there wasn't any risk because I want to avoid stupid mistakes and I also know that Google don't care about privacy.

I don't think it's a risk, but yet, I still can't bring myself to build links using Google Chrome.

Call me paranoid, but i use firefox for all seo tasks and chrome for general browsing

Google Paranoia :)

It is better to not be signed in and leave a trial.

Chrome/firefox/edge shouldn't make much of a difference but chrome/firefox extensions are too good and edge is getting better than both in speed.
