Hey guys,

I was thinking of getting started with youtube +CPA

I have an account that I havent posted much on recently but used to post tutorials on. Its 5 years old or so with 900 subs and around 530k lifetime views.

Nothin crazy but I do care about the account a little. Any chance of getting this account into trouble for posting youtube vids w CPA links?

Thanks

I would personally build a landing page on which you then either redirect to offer or collect leads then send them info about offer.

Hey :)

I actually have some good experience with this. First off it's an amazing Idea if you know what offers to promote, and have a big audience.
Alot of quality offers that would naturally convert extremely well with YouTube are banned with the traffic source:

Therefore.. you would have to cloak in order to send traffic without alerting the affiliate manager.
Also, this differs from network to network. I have found THE best networks to be affiliaxe and of course maxbounty.

Both offer some of the most professional looking "giveaway" style verticles that mesh with the style of YouTube giveaways.
(And convert on first tier email submits)

If you have plan on creating a large channel, and have a bit of web development skills, here's what you can do:

You can create a page in the video description, which you promote in video as as a giveaway for an item.
ALWAYS go with their highest converting mass consumer product, which happens to STILL be the I-Phone giveaway.

Send the traffic to a bridge page with a video explaining the giveaway. This will also help you get around the "no YouTube" traffic rule that many
networks are making popular.

From the bridge page, simply lead to the offer. The better quality the offer, the more you convert. If you have a large channel already, be mindful
of hitting your cap and alerting your affiliate manager.. especially if you use a bridge page from youtube with a gift card verticle.

And remember...

Not all ad networks have this "No YouTube restriction". Get into many and just ask, truthfully. Rather do things the right way then worry about being shut down.
Then again.. this is a black hat forum :)
