Any resources for Email Marketing?

I have a health website which brings a good amount of traffic. I want to collect emails from my readers and then monetizing them with products every month.

However I couldn't find any resources on how to properly setup Email Automation and how to write and when to send the actual emails. Heck I couldn't even find an Email section here on BHW (move it if there is one).

Just like SEO is not "just build links" I believe Email marketing is not "just send mails".

The only thing so far I did was read Dotcom Secrets. And I believe there is more to it, but I don't know where to read more.

Any resources you can recomend to me? Books for Social Engineering or anything else Enail Marketing related?

Import list into mailchimp

I am not into email marketing I rather use social media pages to connect with people and update my content to them. But I have a suggestion for you, check out your competitors subscribe to their email list (you can use different email if you don't want these in your inbox). You should start getting emails from them check out their emails, content, timing etc. This should help you both in how to write and when to send. Hope this helps.
