Any recommendations on a good media buying course?

Hey guys,

I already searched around the forum and can't find much in the way of recommendations from other experienced members.

I am searching for an all encompassing course of how to be successful at Media Buys, I am not looking to do much in the way of adwords PPC except a little content network, but mainly something specializing in doing direct media buys successfully and using ad networks to accomplish this ends as well. Any of the experienced members have some recommendations of a course that has helped them?

I purchased one WSO that was OK...but it was more basic getting started Media buy stuff....Has anyone used or listened to Amish Shah's Media buy course from a couple years ago?

The course can teach you the basics and maybe even some advanced methods and techniques but ultimately it comes down to having the experience to pull it off.

You can't learn everything, even if you have a mentor and he teaches you everything he knows you will meet different providers and clients and you will face different problems, each obstacle you fail at will teach you what to look for and what to avoid.

Sorry I know this isn't the kind of response you wanted, but it has been true for everything I did in my life. Learn the basics and then experiment, experiment, experiment.

Are there any courses that are a good place to start that go beyond the basic "Hey heres how you sign up for an a ad network and use google ad planner"?

Have you had a good look in the downloads section ? I'm sure I came across shahs magic bullet course there. Every wso ever is in there somewhere

Im sure I can find his system somewhere since its no longer sold...but I am also looking for some feedback about anyone who has gotten and read/listened to his system and if it was ever worth delving into? Have you gotten in Shah's system and was it any good and worth the download?

Anybody have any other good recommendations about teaching media buying that goes beyond the basics?

Look for the threads in this forum (Media Buying) - there are quite a few very good. Then you have to invest some $$ to learn it live!
