I suppose I'm looking for private proxies that work with mailerking, as I don't really trust public ones due to the fact that I'm not sure how to avoid honeypots.

You'll need SOCKS5 proxies, NOT normal anon eliete proxies. When doing webmailing via public SMTPs such as Yahoo/AOL etc your IP gets attached to the email even when using eliete private anon proxies. Only SOCKS5 proxies will prevent this. That said, they are also much more expensive.
