Hey,
im wondering if here on bhw are, making some $$ or even full-time, photographers? I don't want you to spoon feed methods, just wondering your way to monetize this amazing passion. I have been making photos since a few yrs and want to try earn a few dollars. Do you use photo stocks to sell your shots or maybe looking for orders in your local city? Any tips or thoughts are kindly welcome
Cheers

I live in tourist area so i take my camera and go to the beach and it start from there

I stated in my Getting Started With Video Production thread in the graphic design section that I used to do wedding photography and take photos for my business clients.
Taking Your Own Pictures - This is my personal preference as I was the official wedding photographer for a few weddings and I used to take photos for business clients when I designed their websites. It's much easier to do this if you've already had some investment in it (i.e., a decent DSLR or, if you must, a phone camera), but if you're not confident in your ability to take decent photos, it's best to look for alternatives.
How you want to monetise your hobby will depend on what you're good at taking pictures of and what your personal preferences are. For example, I knew someone who was obsessed with celebrities and knew how to take photos well. She later became a paparazzi and made a load of money doing this.

Even if you're not exclusively doing photography to make money, it can be a great way to supplement other types of work you do. For instance, designing websites and using your own photos are two very compatible skills.

Speaking of which, a now-banned member here named @Sherb posted a couple of threads where he turned the pictures he took from a vacation into a blog in order to make money.
