Any open source software / source code like Patreon?

Hi guys, is there any open source code like Patreon which can use freely?

For how the Patreon system work, i can only figure out it is just rely on the payment gateway transaction to earn money. Besides this, is there any other part of its sytem require special coding?

Basically, i guess i can just start a wordpress website and implement the payment gateway to receive those payment from user, and then accumulate the amount, and finally release the money to creator by keeping some charges with me for processing fees....

Thats all i can figure out for this website works, is there any other part i have missed?

Thats probably most of it, yes. However patreon also has option sfor the creator to post content there.
