I have an AlertPay account, they're legit - no complaints.

it is a "gud alternative" so is Moneybookers.

it depends what ru up to

there's no good alternative for paypal as of now at least from the seller POV, because the vast majority of your customers are using paypal and not alertpay, moneybookers or any other payment processor

so if you're tired of paypal and want to sell something, your best bet are 2checkout or plimus, where your customers can pay you with their paypal account

fees are higher than if you use paypal directly, but it's still better than missing sales, because of your customer doesn't have alertpay or moneybookers

on the other hand, there's no problem with alertpay if you want to buy something, receive money to it, withdraw etc.

Paypal just might screw you in the end because they
think they are holy and a customer or rival can screw
you and Paypal will take their side.

Best and cheapest alternative and free to get

Exactly tells it all. I have been using 2CO as payment processor to receive payments and their fees are little bit higher than paypal. It's useful for sellers because the can get the sales we are looking for although they haven't had paypal accounts.

But the process is bit tedious in comparing to paypal where everything is instant. That's why people are willing to use PP among so many issues with it :)
