any one use virtualbox

i want to install 3 copies of virtualbox but i don't understand the rules for the operating system.
my main question is do i need to own three licenced copies of the os i am trying to install?
its a windows 19 machine with 16 gb mem, running the three should not be a problem

if you want to run 3 virtual machines running microsoft windows os on your windows 10 machine 16 gb mem, you need to own three licensed copies for all virtual machines just like they are real machines. but if the virtual machines won't be running ms windows, say you will be running linux, you don't need three licenses.

Yes you need 3 licenses for each install.
