Any one into Funded Trading ?

In FT, some one will fund (free if you are talented - upto 5M$) you and in regular you fund yourself.

no. Its like they fund you once after some evaluation and you can keep the profit from 50-100%

Interested in knowing if any one is doing funded trading or not.
Something that I have wanted to do for years, but the amount of time and dedication it requires.. I just don't have it.

All success stories are pretty much similar... people usually put in 3 years of hard work before they see any success.. I am talking about 5-6 hours every day learning, reading books, charts, demo trading, and so forth... You can read as many books as you want but the skill eventually comes through experience so you need to sit and watch the charts all day (I am talking about becoming a profitable trader here and not specifically about being a funded trader but it's the same if you want to make money consistently with trading).

It's doable if you have the time and dedication. I wish I had.

I don't know anyone who has become a successful trader within a year, and I have followed trader communities for a few years on Twitter and Reddit so I am familiar with some aspects of it.

Its way too much work, just buy and hodl
Its not. I trade hardly 2 hours a day. Getting consistant results. But I am too weak psycologically and discipline wise. Working on it now. Buy and hold wont work with funded accounts.

I see funded trading can help us discipline as they have very strict terms.
if you have discipline and a few working trading methods you can easily make 40k minimum a month. I personally know people doing that. ofcrs not me :D

Spend 1 hour a day in learning the right thing. You dont need to learn everything at first to give it a try. Identify first what to learn and then you are good to go.

I know people who makes 40k a month with 6 months of experience in FT.

Most reputable names out there indeed give a "funded" account.

However, there is a catch. These funded accounts aren't really funded and live.

You're still trading on a demo environment. They just pay you the money from their pocket.

This doesn't really matter as long as you're being paid. Just saying.

I agree with the statement that 99% of traders are not profitable. A significant percentage of evaluation buyers fail to convert to a payout, which is part of their business model. However, once you prove your capabilities, they will provide real money with minimal risk to themselves.

Down the road, even those who pass, end up losing. Mostly due to greed.

They can't give you real trading account. To do that, they have to get regulated and get a license. All of them pay you in prize money. Read the fine print and do some research.

agree and am one of those. happened to me too.
may be you are right. still like you said above, it doesnt matter as long as a passed pa gets a payout.

If these stats are right, imagine how much they made from failed ones. :D
