ANY Nofollow Case Study on BHW?

Hard to find anything bout that topic.
Perhaps you know some ressources? Anything? Someone that did some reliable studies where he tested links from NOFOLLOW sources? AND waited 30 days. AND did nothing else to a site during that timeframe?

I havent hat time to do a thorough one on this ( you know, where I only test 2 pages or so

caue I am lazy) , but my other concurrent tests are showing that 19/20 cases NF dont pass NOTHING at all.
but in 1/20 it passes some juice...

and, to get somewhat of ranking if, for example you are using Blogcomments as your only linking sources (some ex client kindly did "negative SEO" for this study. dick - thought he could skip my payment... ) , you need A TON of them to even move NO comp keywords to some spaces...

As I dont want to warm up the discussion IF they help or not, I ask if you know some sites that did some studies on this..

No haven't seen any, but I've thought about doing it a couple years ago and wondered the same.
Also wondered about text mentions.

well, I more by accident stumbled over one.
It had the domain name of an ex company I worked part time + keyword in vicinity. and the page ranked #50 for this keyword alone.
it was kind of non competitive, but still. it somehow works.
So, it might be weak, it might work a bit to your advantage.

so, If nonone has any nofollow external links studies...

I have to ask, If someone did a rel nofollow his affiliate links, waited 21 days, took a dumb, played with some girls and did nothing else to a site, and monitored results?

Why do I get the feeling I have to do it myself too

Most "studies" on nofollow that I can find just state that they might okay for referral traffic. Which is true, but still worthless cause anybody can say that.

I have been tracking keywords with nofollow links building for a year and can safely say they don't do jack shit. I have links from wikipedia and huffpost which are nofollow, neither of them did anything for rankings.

They add diversity to your links profile. That's something I guess.

I did a case study of running a nofollow links tumblr vs. wordpress social bookmarks doffollo, but got slaughter on BHW for using only two properties

I have once read sth on Moz blog, and a guy commented there claimed he did a case study, which only 1 no-follow link pushed his ranking, he did nothing meantime, no idea if that is truth or not, but I would rather believe, I think no follow definitely play sth, not only for diversity, just my 2 cents, I have no experience though.

always bitches complaining, cause they are jealous you "FOUND STH OUT" they did not have:

and willinigness

to stick out their head out of the gurubrainwash and test stuff...

else, I could also do some "black hat tiered spam" case study and rank some lowlife subpage.

anyhow, im am kind of suprised why so few people post some splittests here, instead they just "follow the pack" of 7$ WSO blindley..
