Any members Mining Cryptocurrency?

In 2016 I mined 1000 XMR coins, and sold it for 14$ Same month. Those days I am new to crypto and not have much experience that is my mistake

Hmmm thanks for everyone opinion In the USA mining would be too expensive iam a citizen of Panama in Central America which power is dirt cheap my uncle has a mansion and his bill is $9 usd a month I have a condo in the USA and my bill is $160

So...
When people say "Mining is not worth it anymore", can we trust them?
Aren't they saying that to keep people away from their profitable venture (which I perfectly understand)
It's pretty difficult to see through the off sometimes

I mined BTC from 2016-2019, at the peak had 8 miners and got about ~3 BTC. Last year my mining pool went really bad and barely gets any blocks these days. It can go for a few months without getting any.

Do you know why exactly? Is it from a fiercest competition?

TBH I kind of abandoned following it and not sure exactly what happened. The pool grew 5X after some mega whales joined but after some time big accounts left and it dropped. I am sure there are other pools out there. You can get more info on Bitcointalk forum and check out their pool section. I've used Kano pool btw and he has low % and good support. There are other pools and largest ones are Chinese.

I know new bitcoin 2.0 with three-private-key security structure , listed 4 top 30 exchange and coinmarketcap . Mine it with high profit in this time. Anyone is interested, contact me

I am mining for almost 3 years now, mined almost 50 btc but sold most of it for expand and maintenance. Mining its still possible if you have cheap electricity or even free =)

Looks like Panama has become the world's crypto darling amirite?

pretty much it’s exploded over last year so many bitcoin atms

Places I've been to in the past few years, never seen a single Bitcoin ATM (not Panama)

I know they're out there since everyone seems to post about Bitcoin ATM's.

I have been researching for about 1 week.
I have $50k to invest. Electricity and warehouse are FREE.

The big problem is that I have no idea which mining rigs to buy, how to set up, which pool to join etc.

Check coinwarz.com for mining profitability.

EDIT: Just noticed this is an old thread. Anyway, I don't think anyone had mentioned coinwarz yet?

If 9 out of 10 people say that it's not worth it, it's probably not worth it.

Mining is long time dead. Unfortunately, though. It was interesting to read The replies and stories
